Five major types of eco–system rub shoulders at Couran Cove. In this section we look at the plants that support them.

We examine what makes a Rainforest and how its delicate plants cope with each other and the inevitable tourists. Couran Cove built the famous eco-cabins in and around its gum trees and still takes 'steps' to protect them.

In the past, a lot of damage has been done to Couran Cove's sand dunes. What's being done to fix it? Likewise mangroves and paperbarks are precious coastal resources which have been almost wiped out in other parts of the country, in spite of their tremendous beauty and importance.
