Don't be a pest

Couran Cove is an eco-tourism resort. And one of their hardest jobs is finding a balance between the eco and the tourism. They take responsibility for the environment by collecting and removing introduced pests, such as weeds and cane toads. But they also have to deal with pests that do belong on the island, but don't play well with people.

Guests come to Couran Cove to enjoy the environment without damaging it. Most of them, however, get a bit cross when the environment starts enjoying them! So one of the first problems the resort had to deal with was its mosquito population.

As Ron Clarke said, there's no point in building a multi–million dollar holiday destination if the mozzies keep people away.
